Modules

Module Types and Levels

Users are able to unlock Module Sockets once their Device reaches a certain level, which allows them to enhance their Device Attributes by inserting the corresponding Module into the unlocked Sockets (e.g. only a Core Module can be placed into Core Sockets).
There are six types of Modules, with each Module representing an Attribute:
  1. 1.
    Red: Memory
  2. 2.
    Orange: Network Speed
  3. 3.
    Yellow: Battery Life
  4. 4.
    Green: Storage
  5. 5.
    Blue: Camera
  6. 6.
    Indigo: Quantum Computing
By heading to the Upgrade tab under the Module section, users can upgrade their Module by burning IDEA tokens and combining 3 Modules of the same level and type to create a higher level Module (e.g. three Level-1 SSD Size Modules to create one Level-2 SSD Size Module).
INIT will also be required to upgrade a Module from Level 4 onward.
Note: Low-level Module upgrades have a chance of failure.

Warning: A certain percentage of Module upgrades can fail from levels 1-6. If the upgrade fails, users will lose their Module.
Awakening Effect: The Module boosts the Base Attribute of the Device, e.g. a Level 2 CPU Core Module will boost a Level 0 Device with 5 base CPU Core according to this formula:
5 (Device Attribute) + 5 x 40% (Module boost effect to Device Attribute) + 8 (Module Attribute) = 15 CPU Core

Socket Types and Quality

A Device has six different Sockets, identified by colors that match each Module type. Players insert a Module into the Socket to boost the Device Attributes.
One Socket is unlocked at each level of the Device: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
Higher Socket quality gives an extra boost to the inserted Device’s Attribute. Players can see the Socket type without unlocking the socket, but NOT the Socket quality, which is determined by the Device quality:
